About Us

AFRI-CAN CONNECT SOCIETY (ACS)

Our goal is to connect Immigrant to Opportunities

Afri-Can Connect Society (ACS) is a non-profit organization established with the sole aim of making immigrants, especially Africans, employable as well as connecting them to jobs and helping them build their careers in Canada. In the future, we intend to expand this and add settlement/integration and kinfolk services.

Our goal is to reduce poverty amongst immigrants by helping them get their skills and education recognized in Canada so to help them better integrate into the Canadian society. In the long run, we aim to make Africans have a presence not only in Alberta but also in Canada. We are currently starting from the economic and social aspects of Africans, but we hope to expand and add other facets of their lives. Afri-Can Connect Society is registered as a non-profit society. Our society’s registration is in process after which we would register it as a charitable organization with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Our name Afri-Can Connect is a combination of the prefix of the continent, (Afri)ca and the country, (Can)ada.
